DAY 22 – Go watch a game of your favorite sport at a friend's house.

Football – soccer to Americans – is a centerpiece of the Kibera community. Whether it’s gathering around the field to watch the local youth go head to head or cheering on the Kenyan National Team, soccer is life in Kibera. Though many families do not have a television in their homes, when a big match is on, neighbors open their homes as gathering places for neighbors and friends. Though team loyalties can get intense, rivalries are all in good fun and the shared love of soccer serves to bring the community together. Put on your team’s jersey, call some friends and start cheering!

This challenge came at the wrong time of year for us. We love to get together with friends to watch March Madness and the Super Bowl. Only one person (my middle son) is a sports fan, but we all have fun during those to events getting into the spirit–GO Colts and Butler Bulldogs!!!

Two sundays ago My boyfriend and I went to our friends house to watch the Viking game, but of course we lost. It was nice to be with our friend and enjoy friendly conversation.

This challenge was fun for me. My family and I went over to my brothers house to watch the football games. We all got to sit around watch the games, eat some good food, and visit with each other. I didn’t mind this challenge at all. I would do it any time.
